Q: What should I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit to Carolina Pain & Spine is for a consultation. A doctor will speak with you, examine you and discuss potential treatment options. If you have been referred by another doctor, information about your visit to Carolina Pain & Spine is made available to that doctor throughout your treatment. It is our policy NOT to prescribe narcotics at the time of an initial consultation.

Q: What do I need to bring with me to the first visit?

If you are visiting us for the first time, please bring the following: Any X-rays or MRIs taken for your current pain problem. Any report(s) from other doctors about this problem Location specific patient intake paperwork Insurance cards and photo ID If you are not able to print the new patient paperwork, you can complete it when you arrive at our office.

Q: How do I schedule an appointment with Carolina Pain & Spine?

Although most of our patients are seen as a result of either your primary care physician or a specialist making a referral, we do accept most self-referrals. If that is the case, you can call the clinic location of your choice and ask for more information on how to make an appointment. Of course, if you are able to have a doctor refer you, this will provide us with more information and can help expedite your appointment.
